Resources

At our school our students have resources they can access her or at home for both reading and math. The best way to access these is through Clever which is a site that allows students to access many apps as well as microsoft products. Each student is set up with a cloud account that their work will be backed up on for easy access both at school and at home.

Reading plus gives our students an assessment before they begin which sets them up with stories at their reading ability that are followed by comphrehension questions. As they continue to succeed in each story they begin to go up in reading levels. They are able to choose which story they want to read and can take their time in answering the questions.

IXL is a math program that students can use which follows along with common core state standards taught in the classroom and can also serve as a method in helping students with basic skills that they still need to learn.

To log in, student will have individual log in and password created by the program. Please reach out to me if you need this information.

A website that I have used and loved is ReadWorks. This site gives you the ability to find passages at any reading ability and will include vocabulary as well as comprehension questions. If student's independent reading level is low there is also the option of the site reading the story to your student.

When I need additional support in a specific math concept I always look to math-aids. This site will give you enough worksheets so you could put a packet together and have additional instruction for your students who need it.
